Chocolate covered apple slices: by The Green Dietician

  • 75g dried apple slices
  • 100g dark chocolate
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 30g chopped nuts or slivered almonds
  • Wax paper or Silpat mat


  1. Melt the chocolate in a bowl over a pan of boiling water and mix with coconut oil.
  2. Dip the apple slices into the melted chocolate until well coated.
  3. Lay chocolate covered apple slices flat on a baking tray lined with wax paper.
  4. Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
  5. Place in the freezer for 20 mins or until the chocolate has hardened.
