Apricot Spiced Hot Toddy

We’re bringing a White Christmas to you!
International travel plans may not have worked out his year, but we are here to help bring the feeling of a white, wintery Christmas to you. You will have all the feels with this Apricot Spiced Hot Toddy recipe by The Honest Grazer

Makes 2 drinks 

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped dried apricots 
  • 1/2  cup whiskey 
  • 3 tablespoons honey 
  • Juice from one lemon  
  • 2 cups strong  ginger tea 
  • 1 tbsp juniper berries (optional) 
  • 2 whole star anise (optional) 
  • 2 cinnamon sticks (optional)


In a small bowl, let the chopped apricots soak in the whiskey overnight.

In a saucepan, combine the honey,  lemon juice, cinnamon, star anise and juniper along with the 2 cups of tea*, and bring to a boil.

Add the apricots and tea, until as hot as desired, then pour into two mugs and enjoy.  


  • Alternatively, add 2 cups water and 2 ginger tea bags before bringing to a boil and remove tea bags before adding apricots
